The global mapping of the injection profiles of the fire smoke has been obtained by re-analysis of fire radiative power data of MODIS instrument onboard of Aqua and Terra satellites. All fires recorded during 2001 and 2008 have been processed with plume-top calculation algorithm described here . The computational algorihtm is described here .
